See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Creating and Opening Projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Act as a webservice<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An option on the End of questionnaire form that makes the questionnaire return a value as an HTTP request instead of displaying a full HTML page. Only available for WAPI projects with the corresponding setting enabled in Project Settings. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Action Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Allow only invited respondents<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An access level in Dub InterViewer that requires respondents to log in with a username and password before accessing a questionnaire. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Running Questionnaires in Dub ManageFrames<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Analyse XML<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A button in the Import Wizard used when importing a Dub Exchange File. It analyses the content of the file so you can avoid overwriting existing elements in your active project. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">The Exchange File and the Formatted Text File<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Menu<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Accessible via Settings \u2192 Application in the Dub Quest Survey Navigator. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Application Settings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Auto Import Service<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A background service that automatically imports samples into your projects. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Dub Auto Import Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Auto match lang if empty<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An import option that automatically assigns a language to a respondent based on their international telephone code. Only applicable for multilingual questionnaires. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sample Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Auto match timezones<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An import option that automatically sets the Timezone field based on the international access code of the phone number. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sample Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Automatic dialing<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A dialer mode in which the respondent is called automatically as soon as the contact screen appears. Interviewers only receive respondents with whom the dialer makes a connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Auto Proceed<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A project setting that moves respondents to the next question automatically, without requiring them to click Next. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Auto proceed and Browsing back<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Backup module<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A Dub Quest feature for storing multiple versions of a questionnaire&#8217;s design. A new backup can be created each time the design is closed. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Versioning and Back-ups<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Blacklist<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A list of respondents who should no longer be contacted or included in samples. Can be managed in both Dub InterViewer and Dub Quest. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Blacklist<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Block Control<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An action form that repeats the same set of questions for multiple items, keeping the questionnaire manageable. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">The Block Control<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Browsing Back<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A project setting that allows respondents to return to previous questions and change their answers. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Auto proceed and Browsing back<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Buffer<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A temporary storage table where raw interview data is held before being moved to the dataset by DubMan. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">The Dataset<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Button bar<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 The navigation bar at the bottom of the interviewer screen, used to navigate questions, register answers, log breaks and log off. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Interviewer Manual \u2013 Conducting an Interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CallMan<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A background service that calculates respondents&#8217; local time every 30 minutes and enables or disables sample records based on their time group. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Time Zones and Time Groups<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CAPI<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Computer Assisted Personal Interview. A face-to-face interview conducted on a Windows machine with Dub Remote, or on Android\/iOS with the Nebu CAPI App. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Types<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CATI<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Computer Assisted Telephone Interview. A phone-based interview conducted in a call center environment. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Types<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CATI Intro<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A telephonic action form automatically inserted at the start of CATI and mixed-mode projects. Used for the interviewer&#8217;s introduction text. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Action Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CATI Supervisor<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A user account type that can monitor and check the status of CATI projects only. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Supervisor Manual \u2013 The CATI Supervisor Account<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Character map<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A tool in Dub Quest for inserting special characters and symbols. Accessible via the Advanced tab or Ctrl+Alt+K. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Designing Questionnaires<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Check Quota<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An action form used to route respondents based on whether specific quota cells are filled. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Quota Management<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Action Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Client<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A ManageFrames user type with read-only access to reports, analyses, quota information and test questionnaires. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">User Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Clustered cases<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A feature that groups sample records sharing the same phone number, allowing interviewers to reach multiple respondents from one organisation with a single call. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sample Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Codebook item<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An answer item that is part of the codebook and not displayed to respondents during the interview. Shown in grey italics in the design screen. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Editing Questions \u2013 Answer Options<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Condition<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A formula that determines under what circumstances a form is shown or hidden for a specific respondent. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Conditions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Conditional execution<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An option within a form that skips that specific form if its condition is not met. Similar to a Skip form but applies only to the form it is set on. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Conditions and Conditional Executions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Correct Interview<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A module in Dub InterViewer that allows supervisors to correct incorrect data in completed interviews. Not to be confused with Dub Recode. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Supervisor Manual \u2013 An Overview of Menu Items<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Create New Project<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 The wizard in Dub Quest that guides you through the steps of creating a new project. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Quickstart 1 \u2013 Creating a Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Database Search<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A special question form for advanced users that allows searching an SQL database on the same server as Dub InterViewer. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Special Question Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data Entry<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A project type used for digitalising paper questionnaires. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Types<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dataset<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 The structured data collected during a survey. Raw data is first stored in the buffer, then moved to the dataset by DubMan. The dataset structure mirrors the questionnaire design. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">The Dataset<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deduplication<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A wizard in Dub Quest for deleting or deactivating duplicate sample records after import. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sample Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Detached project<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A project whose database has been detached from Dub InterViewer by DubMan after exceeding the DetachAfterDays threshold (default: 90 days). See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sysman Manual \u2013 System<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dialer<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A tool for automatically dialling respondents in CATI projects. Several dialer types and modes are available. A questionnaire can have multiple end forms for different routing outcomes. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Settings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Floating appointment<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An appointment with a window of 10 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled time. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Settings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Formatted Text File<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A text file format for creating questionnaires outside Dub Quest and importing them into the design. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Importing Formatted Text<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">G<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>General Question Forms<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 The standard question types in Dub Quest: Single Response, Multiple Response, Single Grid, Multiple Grid, Numerical, Slider, Text, Open Ended and Date\/Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Go to URL<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An action form that directs respondents to an external webpage at a specific point in the questionnaire before continuing. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Action Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grouping Form<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An action form that displays multiple questions on a single screen. Routing within or outside the group is not possible. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Grouping Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hard-bounced mail<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An email that could not be delivered because the address does not exist or the server is unreachable. The address is automatically added to the blacklist. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Mail Bouncer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Helptext<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Optional text attached to a form that can be viewed by the interviewer or respondent during the interview. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">The Helptext<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hour administration<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A module for registering the time interviewers spend on interviewing, coding and other activities. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Sysman Manual \u2013 Logs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Import batch as inactive records<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An import option that imports sample members with inactive status, allowing you to activate them manually later. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Action Forms in Dub Quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interview duration<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 The average time spent on a completed interview. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Monitoring Progress of Surveys<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interviewer<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A user type that can conduct interviews. All interviewers are also registered as Persons in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">K<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keep order<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 An answer item option that prevents a specific item (e.g. &#8220;Other, specify&#8221;) from being randomised, keeping it in its fixed position. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Editing Questions \u2013 Answer Options<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kiosk Mode<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 A browser setting that fills the full screen and disables all browser navigation controls, restricting interviewers to the questionnaire only.
