The&nbsp;<strong>Survey Navigator<\/strong>&nbsp;(main screen) appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 \u2013 Create a new project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click the&nbsp;<strong>New project<\/strong>&nbsp;button in the toolbar, or press&nbsp;<strong>Ctrl+N<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Create New Project<\/strong>&nbsp;window opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code>[SCREENSHOT: Create New Project window]<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2013 Set the project details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the upper left section of the window, fill in the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project ID<\/strong>&nbsp;A unique code of up to 8 alphanumeric characters. This identifies your project throughout the system. If you enter an invalid character, a warning will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project Title<\/strong>&nbsp;A descriptive name for your project. This title will appear in Dub InterViewer and also as the browser tab title when respondents open the questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project Location<\/strong>&nbsp;The folder where your project files will be stored. Useful for organising projects by client or department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Questionnaire Group<\/strong>&nbsp;Assign the project to a group to manage access rights for different users on the same system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Default Language<\/strong>&nbsp;Set the primary language for your questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interview Options<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Auto Proceed<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 respondents move to the next question automatically, without clicking Next<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Browsing Back<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 respondents can return to previous questions to change their answers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong>&nbsp;When you check&nbsp;<strong>Add Project to ManageFrames<\/strong>, Dub Quest will automatically assign the next available code in Dub InterViewer. It is recommended to leave this as-is.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 \u2013 Choose a project type<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the upper right section, select one or more project types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Type<\/th><th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>WAPI<\/strong><\/td><td>Web Assisted Personal Interviewing \u2014 online surveys via internet<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>CATI<\/strong><\/td><td>Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing \u2014 phone-based interviews in a call center<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>CAPI<\/strong><\/td><td>Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing \u2014 face-to-face interviews via Android\/iOS app<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Data Entry<\/strong><\/td><td>For digitalising paper questionnaires<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For your first project, select&nbsp;<strong>WAPI<\/strong>. Additional options will appear at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a full explanation of all project types, see&nbsp;<a href=\"#\">Project Types<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5 \u2013 Configure WAPI options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once WAPI is selected, you can configure the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Template<\/strong>&nbsp;Choose a template for the look and feel of your survey. Options include templates from your Library, or you can start without a template. From version 7.8.8.0, the&nbsp;<strong>StandardResponsive<\/strong>&nbsp;template is available for mobile-friendly surveys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note when using StandardResponsive:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum screen resolution: 320px in any direction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not use swap items or labels in grid questions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not use the pipe character&nbsp;<code>|<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enable the frameless option in Dub Quest for proper touch device experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Buttons<\/strong>&nbsp;Configure how the Previous and Next buttons appear in your survey \u2014 as standard buttons or as images, and whether they appear inline or in a separate frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Progress Bar<\/strong>&nbsp;Enable the default progress bar and automatic progress calculation during the survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>URL after questionnaire<\/strong>&nbsp;Specify the web address respondents are redirected to after completing the survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6 \u2013 Create the project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click&nbsp;<strong>Create Project<\/strong>.
